Suresh Rajan

Founder and Executive Chairman of LCR Capital Partners

Suresh Rajan is the Founder and Executive Chairman of LCR Capital Partners. He started his career as a policy advisor to members of the US Congress and later was the first Executive Director of the Washington, DC-based John Quincy Adams Society.  After working in the government sector, Suresh joined McKinsey & Company and worked primarily in the areas of strategy development, principal investing, mergers and acquisitions, warehousing and distribution. In 2012 he founded LCR, a global private investment and advisory services firm that deploys EB-5 investments as growth capital in the U.S. market for signature real estate and luxury hospitality projects. He received a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration in General Management from Harvard Business School.

Sherman Baldwin

Chief Executive Officer  of LCR Capital Partners

Sherman Baldwin is the Chief Executive Officer of LCR Capital Partners and has been in this role since 2019.  He started his corporate business career at McKinsey & Company and after roles in private equity and aerospace strategy he eventually joined Accenture where he became the Global Managing Director for Accenture’s Aerospace & Defense business and subsequently held several other leadership roles during his fourteen years with the business.  From 1987 to 1995, he served in the U.S. Navy as a carrier pilot, a strategic planner for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and a Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Navy. He received a B.A. in Political Science from Yale College, an M.A. in Telecommunications from George Washington University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Sherman is also an Adjunct Faculty Lecturer at Yale College on Innovation & Leadership. He has had three children attend competitive schools such as Deerfield Academy and Choate Rosemary Hall before graduating and attending both Yale and Colby.

Merrily Bodell

Merrily Bodell is the Chief Operating Office of IvyWise, the premier educational consultancy. The IvyWise team of college admissions counselors has over 300 years of collective experience inside the admissions offices of Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Stanford, MIT, and NYU, to name a few.  With a BS from Georgetown and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business, Merrily held management positions in financial services before moving to education. Prior to her tenure with IvyWise, Merrily was at The Princeton Review for nearly a decade in senior management. A Westport resident for 20 years, Merrily has a child about to set off to college in the fall. She understands the college application process not only as a professional but also as a  parent.
